SHELF, PLANTER and SCREEN for silence and greenery
2012-02-07
The Barcelona based designer Mario Ruiz designed the acoustic panel SOUNDWAVE Botanic for Offecct last year.
This year Ruiz has developed a number of complementary products for the SOUNDWAVE system, namely the shelf SHELF, the flower box PLANTER and SCREEN; a combined projection surface and whiteboard.
SHELF is a shelf that fits perfectly with Offecct’s selection of acoustic panels and offers the possibility to create SOUNDWAVE interiors containing shelves for storage of books and other objects.
PLANTER is an O2ASIS inspired flower box that in addition to functioning together with the SOUNDWAVE system also provides the opportunity to add greenery to public and private environments. O2ASIS is a selection of design products that together with flowers and plants increase and add value to interiors.
SCREEN is a white magnetic glass board that also includes a manual projection screen. By integrating SCREEN in the SOUNDWAVE system the usefulness of SOUNDWAVE in contemporary interiors increases.
- Since our selection of acoustic panels is very successful on the market it feels natural to offer architects and clients the possibility to create more functional environments, says Kurt Tingdal, CEO, Offecct. - By combining SOUNDWAVE’s acoustic qualities with the possibilities to integrate greenery by using O2ASIS, we look forward to see new exciting interiors, concludes Kurt Tingdal.
